Land’s Sake Farm Tree Tapping

Land’s Sake Farm visited our school today for an educational program. The farmers showed us how they tap our sugar maple trees and talked to us about the process of making maple syrup. We also read a fun book-The Sweetest Season which also explained tree tapping. Please enjoy the pictures below. Each child had a chance to turn the drill and watch the sap dripping.
