Roxbury Weston Preschool celebrated the end of the school year with a field trip to the swan boats and Boston Public Garden on Thursday May 28th, 2015.

Preschool students and their families rode the bus from the preschool campus at the First Parish Church in Weston town center to the Charles Street gates of the Boston Public Garden. The children, parents & teachers enjoyed a trip around the lagoon in the swan boats. The children had a wonderful time watching for ducks and the two swans in residence, Romeo & Juliet. The group then walked around the historic gardens to the bronze statues of Mrs. Mallard & her ducklings, based on the classic children’s picture book written & illustrated by Robert McCloskey. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch with the classmates & families in the gardens. It was a terrific day, perfect weather and a wonderful end to the school year at Roxbury Weston Preschool!
